Founded in 1973, this company is based in Alsace near Strasbourg.

Its geographic location within a highly industrialised region is one of the criteria that prompted the decision to incorporate ALCYON Industries into the INDUSTEAM Group. The company has just finalised an initial stage that was started two years earlier to set up an INDUSTEAM France branch in the Colmar region. ALCYON Industries will naturally become a host structure for employees in the Haut Rhin area.

The second criterion is that the company's activities mesh with the Group's other activities, especially industrial piping for new customers in sectors where the Group is looking to develop its presence, i.e. food & drink, pharmaceuticals and petrochemicals.

The ALCYON Industries manufacturing and assembly workshop is also a major asset, and its EN 15085-2 certification means that it can operate in markets for manufacturing rolling stock components, such as for SNCF's high-speed trains. These skills complement INDUSTEAM Nord's services to Eurotunnel.
